I just received the update on this story, guys. The young girl was brutally beaten up by her madam in Ibadan. The incident had happened on the 25th of January, at Eleyele police barrack in Ibadan.
The young girl's madam had allegedly beat the girl so much,knocked off her tooth and nearly blinded her, before pouring hot water on the girl. Her cries attracted neighbours who saved her from the attack. The woman then allegedly told neighbours she beat the girl because she didn't clean the house. The girl was taken to a hospital and the woman detained
The update on the story now is that the girl has been discharged from the hospital and the woman is still in police custody. The police refused to grant her bail.
Her husband who is a policeman on special duty in Akure came back and saw the wickedness his wife did and cried bitterly. He said he can't continue with the marriage.
The woman has been charged to Ibadan high court. It's gonna hold on Feb 5th, 2015.
