Former Benue state governor, Gabriel Suswam, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The arrest was made on Monday, October 12, following allegations of corrupt practices which occurred during his tenure as governor.
Suswam governed Benue state between 2007 and May 2015, as of the time of this report, the EFCC was questioning him at their office in Abuja over alleged graft in his state.
Premium Times reports that the arrest was confirmed by Wilson Uwajuren, spokesperson for the EFCC.
