The Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has cautioned Nigerians to be vigilant while receiving gifts from unknown persons that may pose as friends during the Yuletide season, to avoid explosive-laden hampers as gifts.
The IG also warned against the use of fireworks and other explosives during the celebration, noting that they could cause distraction that may further heighten fear of insecurity.
