70 Yr Old Woman in Trouble For Rubbing Pepper on a 12Yr Old Boy's Manhood

The Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, WAPA, has vowed to prosecute a 70-year old woman for applying pepper in a 12-year old boy’s penis for alleged stealing of money.

The Permanent Secretary, WAPA, Omobolanle Ogunmola said the ministry got a text message that a 12-year old child (name withheld) was being abused by a woman, who is around 70 years of age for alleged stealing by applying pepper in his private part and beating him severely with marks on his body.

“Our team went to Badagry to rescue the boy who attends Ansarudeen Secondary School. From the information gotten from the school, the accused are old. The woman is around 70 years and the husband, over 75 years, so we could not arrest them, but that does not mean we are not going to prosecute them. We are going to prosecute them. We will take custody of the boy and take him to school in one of our transient homes,” she said.

Ogunmola said the state government had declared zero tolerance on child abuse and domestic violence, saying that government would not hesitate to prosecute people found to have violated the rights of children in the state.

She said government had lots of child abuse cases being prosecuted at various Family Courts in the State, with some of the culprits being jailed, saying that “as we arrest culprits, we hand them over to the police for prosecution.”

However, the 12 year old boy confirmed that the 70-year old woman applied pepper on his private part for stealing money which he admitted to, saying that since his mother left him, he had been staying with his relation who happened to be the aged woman.

He identified the aged woman simply as Mrs Amosun, but the boy refused to disclosed how much he stole due to shame and fear, admitting that the old woman applied pepper to his joystick for stealing some money.

EFCC Arrests Sacked NIMASA Boss Over Alleged Multibillion Naira Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested the immediate past Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency [NIMASA], Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi, two weeks after he was fired from his post.

A source in NIMASA told PREMIUM TIMES Mr. Akpobolokemi was arrested in Lagos Thursday morning and was detained at the Lagos office of the EFCC in the Ikoyi area of the city.

“He was taken in this morning around 10 a.m.,” the NIMASA insider said. “Some of our other officials have also been summoned while EFCC operatives have been conducting discreet investigation here. There is tension everywhere.

“One of our people just returned from EFCC and he told me the former DG is still there, sweating profusely as he was being questioned by investigators.”

Our source said while at NIMASA headquarters, EFCC operatives asked questions about some curious multibillion naira transactions approved by Mr. Akpobolokemi, especially during the dying days of the last administration.

“For instance, they wanted to know how a whooping N13 billion was spent on the acquisition of land for the permanent site of the Nigerian Maritime University in Delta,” our source said.

“They also asked about other transactions they believed were fraudulent, including transfers of millions of dollars from NIMASA accounts to other accounts.”

The spokesperson for the EFCC could not be reached for comments. He did not answer multiple calls as well as a text message to his telephone.

But an official in the prosecution unit of the EFCC in Lagos confirmed that Mr. Akpobolokemi was brought into the complex on Thursday morning.

“I’m aware he is with us but I don’t have details about the case against him or what investigators are asking him,” said the official, who cannot be named because he has no permission to speak to journalists on the matter.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on July 16 sacked Mr. Akpobolokemi and directed him to immediately hand over all government property in his possession and vacate office.

There have been several allegations of financial impropriety against NIMASA during Mr. Akpobolokemi’s tenure, including those which suggested the agency funded the lavish lifestyles of some Niger Delta militants and bankrolled most of the hate campaigns against Mr. Buhari in the run-up to the 2015 elections.

In 2012, the Fiscal Responsibility Commission, accused the maritime agency of failing to render its audited accounts from 2007 to 2011.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! PDP Actually Admitted Buhari Is Not Corrupt

If you did doubt how true the story that PDP said Buhari isn’t corrupt is, well it’s very normal to be in doubt on this but INFORMATION NIGERIA is confirming it to you that they actually said it. Most Nigerians never thought this day would come, at least not this soon.

PDP had during the presidential election campaign launched tirades of attacks on Buhari calling him all sorts of name; corrupt liar inclusive. However, PDP made a U-turn on one of their major notes of attack on Buhari yesterday when the spokesperson of the party, Olisa Metuh said “Apart from Mr. President, who for now, is not associated with any sleaze or corrupt activity”.

This is an absolute turn around on what PDP claimed during the election. PDP would have never admitted to this if they had not lost in the presidential election.

Open your 36 Questions app and put the study by Dr. Aron to the test — your marriage deserves this refreshing little experiment! Now, a few reminders: You’re not going to answer the questions with one or two words, or with the phrase, “You already know.” You’re not going to complain about how silly this is, or how awkward you feel. You are going to open up, and take a chance at love again; deep, connected love. The kind you sometimes miss and even ache for.

You and your spouse are going to ask each other these questions over the course of an hour and a half (or more), and have a deep, meaningful conversation. It’s going to be renewing, enlightening and romantic. And you’re going to find yourself suddenly very attracted to your spouse, and very connected to him or her. That’s the magic of it all. Just 36 little questions for a more intimate and close connection with your one true love. Happy loving, friends.

Set I

Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?

Would you like to be famous? In what way?

Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?

What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?

When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?

If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want?

Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?

Name three things you and your [spouse] appear to have in common.

For what in your life do you feel most grateful?

If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?

Take four minutes and tell your [spouse] your life story in as much detail as possible.

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?

Set II

If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know?

Is there something that you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?

What is the greatest accomplishment of your life?

What do you value most in a friendship?

What is your most treasured memory?

What is your most terrible memory?

If you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living? Why?

What does friendship mean to you?

What roles do love and affection play in your life?

Alternate sharing something you consider a positive characteristic of your [spouse]. Share a total of five items.

How close and warm is your family? Do you feel your childhood was happier than most other people’s?

How do you feel about your relationship with your mother?

Set III

Make three true “we” statements each. For instance, “We are both in this room feeling … ”

Complete this sentence: “I wish I had someone with whom I could share … ”

If you were going to become a close friend with your [spouse], please share what would be important for him or her to know.

Tell your [spouse] what you like about him or her; be very honest this time, saying things that you might not say to someone you’ve just met.

Share with your [spouse] an embarrassing moment from your life.

When did you last cry in front of another person? By yourself?

Tell your [spouse] something that you like about them already.

What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?

If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone? Why haven’t you told them yet?

Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire. After saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any one item. What would it be? Why?

Of all the people in your family, whose death would you find most disturbing? Why?

Share a personal problem and ask your [spouse’s] advice on how he or she might handle it. Also, ask your [spouse] to reflect back to you how you seem to be feeling about the problem you have chosen.

7 Signs You’re Being Too Emotional For Your Husband

By nature, most women are more emotional than men. That’s not a bad thing when those emotions lead to empathy and care. But let’s talk about those “over-the-top” emotional responses to what life dishes out. How you deal with life’s events has everything to do with how happy your marriage is.

Read: Your husband has 5 basic needs. Are you meeting them?

Here are a few signs that you’re being a little too emotional for your hubby to handle.

1. He stops telling you the truth

Some women can’t handle the truth. They fall apart. As a result, their husbands end up hiding the truth to avoid the tirade of emotions poured out upon them. A man can handle just so much of that, and then, like a trip to the dentist, he’ll avoid it — even if it means lying to his wife.

2. He isn’t as romantic as he used to be

Too much negative emotion from you will diminish your husband’s romantic feelings. It’s hard to feel tender, loving thoughts of intimacy with a person who is emotionally volatile. If this side of your relationship is suffering, look to what your emotional outbursts (or “silent treatments” — another form of emotional response) are doing to discourage your husband from being more loving and vulnerable.

Counselor, Shannon Ethridge, said, “Women share part of the blame when their husbands pull away from them emotionally. Sometimes, it is the women’s attitudes or behaviors that have caused the men to become frigid. It is not that love has died between them; it is just that the husband has shut down emotionally because of how his wife treats him.”

3. He zones out when you talk

It’s as if he has turned off his hearing aids and his mind is far away from anything you are saying. He doesn’t hear you. He doesn’t want to hear you. He’s tired of hearing you because you so often erupt into emotional overdose. Guys can do that. They just “turn you off” after awhile. It’s their survival mode. If you want hubby to hear you, tone it down a little, and be rational.

4. He avoids talking to you about things that upset you

This is different from lying to you. This is your husband’s decision to keep things to himself rather than talk to you about them. That way, he doesn’t have to lie to you. He doesn’t want to upset you, so he keeps quiet. But life comes with challenges, and both you and hubby must be able to talk about and effectively deal with whatever happens. You both need that kind of emotional maturity from each other.

5. He stays away from home longer

No man wants to come home to a barrage of emotional outbursts — crying, sulking, making demands … That’s too great a burden to bear. He’ll find somewhere else to go where he doesn’t have to endure it. Staying late at work becomes more appealing. The local bar becomes a place to drown out miseries — only to cause more later. Don’t let your emotional reactions drive your man to unhealthy outlets.

6. He loses his temper

Sometimes, a guy’s automatic response to an out-of-control wife is to holler at her. He simply doesn’t know how to deal with her and resorts to yelling at her to stop. He may blast her with a volley of insults that have been building up inside him. If this happens, calm down. It will do wonders to help your husband be calm. While you aren’t responsible for his temper, you should evaluate your part in it.

7. He seeks companionship with someone else

It may be his buddies. Hanging out with them is much less stressful than hanging out with a sobbing, complaining wife. A little time with buddies can be a good thing, but when this becomes hubby’s escape, that’s evidence he’s not wanting to be where his wife’s emotions are in full swing. Worst of all, don’t nudge your husband into the arms of a calm, understanding “other woman.” You be the understanding woman in his life.

Takeaway tip

Learn how to take control of your emotions. In essence, take care of yourself by eating properly. Get enough sleep. Take breaks now and then — even just a walk in the sunshine can help keep your emotions in check. Make the effort, and not only will your man love you for it but your life will be much happier.

INCREDIBLE! Women Tie ‘Juju’ Around Poles To Scare PHCN Officials | PHOTOS

Some women in a community in Niger state have reportedly threatened officials of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) with charms.

This is coming as the power company has refused to provide them with electricity supply for months, and disconnecting them anytime they want.

The women in Guaraka community in Tafa local government area of Niger State, according to Pulse, have now taken the fight to the officials by tying charms and ‘juju’ on electric poles, daring the PHCN officials to climb the poles.

It was also gathered that while the men asked for patience to resolve the feud, the women of the community decided to protest the situation and apply diabolical means to settle the score once and for all as they would not have any of the previous anomalies by the body.

Some aggrieved women in the Niger Delta region also recently warned president Muhammadu Buhari, following the dismissal of 13 ex-militant youths trained by the Lufthansa Airline Training School in Frankfurt, Germany.

PDP Is Broke – APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) says a series of spurious claims and allegations against the party by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is due to the opposition’s financial troubles at the moment.

“We know that the psyche of the PDP has been badly affected by its loss of power at the centre. Even the party itself has admitted that much. That situation has now been compounded by the fact that the party is broke. It is therefore not a surprise that it is no longer able to think straight. The reality of its new situation is just beginning to dawn on it,” the APC said in a statement by National Publicity Secretary Lai Mohammed.

This came as the APC denied the allegation by the PDP that the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura, is a card-carrying member of the party (APC).

The party challenged the PDP to publish any evidence it may have to confirm the allegation, adding that “After all, it is trite that he who alleges must prove.”

“In the absence of that, the PDP must call another press conference to publicly apologize to all Nigerians for engaging in barefaced lies,” it said.

APC expressed shock that the PDP has started exhibiting all the symptoms of hallucination so soon after its gravy train derailed, saying it’s obvious that the party has now started hearing voices.

“But we warned the PDP early on that being in opposition is not a walk in the park. We warned that while the party was used to eating its bread with b*tter on both sides, it will now be lucky to even have bread to eat,” the party said.

South Korea’s Moon-joon Wants to Be Fifa’s Next President

South Korea’s Chung Moong-joon has declared intention to succeed Sepp Blatter as Fifa’s next president.

Chung is a former vice-president of world football’s governing body and the major shareholder of automotive manufacturers Hyundai.

He told the BBC’s World Football programme he wants to replace the 79-year-old Swiss and that rival Michel Platini was not the right man for Fifa.

“If I get elected, my job is not to enjoy the luxury of the office. My job is to change it,” he added.

“It will be very difficult for Mr. Platini to have any meaningful reforms. Mr. Platini enjoys institutional support from the current structure of Fifa. Mr. Platini is very much a product of the current system.”

Chung Moon-joon Wants to Succeed Sepp Blatter as Fifa’s Next President.

Platini announced he will be candidate for Fifa presidency on Wednesday and has not be spared of criticisms from oppositions.
Candidates have until 26 October to declare to run in the election which comes up on 26 February.

The English Football Association has confirmed it will back Uefa president Platini’s bid for election.

Chung, who lost his Fifa vice-presidency in 2010 to Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, believes he has a “good chance” of winning the election.

“It is time that Fifa had a non-European leadership,” he said.

“FIFA became a closed organisation for president Blatter, his associates and his cronies and I want to change that.”

Blatter has occupied football’s highest position since 1998 and was re-elected for a fifth term on 29 May, but announced he will stand down four days later in the wake of the biggest scandal in the history of world football.

Seven high-ranking football officials were arrested at at a five-star hotel in Zurich as part of a U.S. investigation into allegations of fraud at football’s governing level Fifa. Two other ex-Fifa executives were also indicted in the U.S. investigation, including five marketing associates.

A separate probe of Fifa’s decision to award the 2018 and 2022 World Cup tournaments to Russia and Qatar by Swiss authorities is also ongoing.

Head of Liberia FA, Musa Bility, has already declared his candidacy. Bility has also said Platini’s candidacy is unacceptable and that world football’s top job needed to be occupied by non-European.

Former Brazilian international Zico and ex-France winger David Ginola are other outsiders who have also said they will contest for Fifa presidency.

Prince Ali bin al-Hussein, who was beaten by Blatter in May’s congress, is also likely to confirm his candidacy.

Dbanj Blasts Nigerians Who Laugh at Him For Selling Garri

Bangalee Aka Dbanj or the Kokomaster is not smiling with his garri business. The singer made his seriousness about promoting the brand known in an emotional piece on Instagram.

He slammed Nigerians for placing much attention of imported products and failed to support their own insisting many of the products we embrace and cherish in the country are foreign products.

He then hinted that, he will kick off a Kokogarri competition where the winner will have a chance to represent the brand and get a start up capital for the Koko garri business.

Read his emotional outburst after the cut:

He wrote

Guys, KokoGarri is available on Konga & in Ebeano Stores!

Who owns Ciroc vodka? Who owns Beats headphones? Who own RocknRepublic? The list goes on. What we do in Nigeria is to laugh at people’s hustle. And when it starts paying, creating jobs and moving the person to the next level, we are quick to ask why is the person living so large? Does he know how many people are hustling and going to bed hungry? But we don’t consider the person’s hustle in the beginning worthy of support. I am a strong Supporter of Nigerian Brands. How many politicians bought this Koko Garri to give their supporters? But they gave imported rice abi? When Otunba Ghadaffi started his mobile toilets, people called him “Agbe po!!!” It wasn’t for long, others joined DMT to do what he was laughed at. I know that a few think what’s DBanj thinking to invest in Garri. Newsflash!!!! I bet you all that is a $30b market. KOKOGARRI to be promoted & distributed in hotels and restaurants. Wherever beans and moi-moi is served, there should be packs of Koko Garri as options to pap, dodo and yam. Trust me, you will see how it will grow. I think there should be a Garri soaking competition sef. The hamburger competitions we see on television don’t even have as much entertainment value…
Round 1, Koko Garri and groundnuts,
Round 2, Koko Garri and coconut,
Round 3 Koko and Kilishi… Powered by Eva Water and Dangote sugar… Winner gets a Koko Garri distribution vehicle and a start up store

Mother of Three Leads Notorious Armed Robbery Gang. Strips Female Police Officer Naked

Twenty-six-year-old Victoria Momidu, is a lady, one could described as a shy person at first glance. But as she stood along with her partner in crime behind the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Lagos State Command, Ikeja, one could best imagine how calm but deadly she could be while operating alongside her robbery gang.

“I was hustling before I met Okokawon, who is my boyfriend. He told me to join his gang,” Victoria said.
When she was asked to explain what she meant by hustling, she replied in one word “prostitution.”

Daily Trust reports that Victoria and one other member of her gang were arrested recently by the men of Lagos State SARS, who had been on their trail after receiving a tip-off about the gang’s plan.

She and her gang had robbed some passengers along the Mile 2- Badagry Expressway. They operate from private cab, a police source alleged.
It all began some months ago, Victoria narrated. She said another member of the gang, Okolawon, (also in SARS custody) had approached her on the need for her to join the gang.

Victoria Momidu said she was once a prostitute but had to stop prostituting six months ago because she was not making enough money from the aged long profession.

“I ran away from my husband’s house in February, abandoning my three children in the process. I came to Lagos to hustle soon after I left my husband and children in Benin. It was a lady I met inside a commercial bus at Mile 2 Motor Park that introduced me to prostitution. She took me to where she was leaving in a hotel at Seme. I later joined other ladies in the act.

“I was making between N2000 and N3,000 per night anytime I have a customer, who will take me home for the night. This was what I was doing, until I met Okokawon. He came to the hotel where I was staying along with some friends to drink. He later asked me if I will spend the night with him,” she said.

The suspect further alleged that Okolawon came back three weeks later to take her out again, saying that they actually spent the whole day together.

She explained that it was at their third outing that Okolawon started picking passengers with his car, a thing which he had not done in her presence before.

“He picked up four passengers, who were going to Badagri, from Iyana Oba bus stop on that day. That was around 9p.m. Somewhere around Okoafon, he stopped, pretending as if the car had suddenly developed fault. It was a lonely stretch of road. Suddenly, another car stopped and the occupants of the car jumped out and I noticed that they were armed with dangerous weapons. They collected all cash and valuables that were in possession of the passengers,” she said.

Vick, as she is known by members of the gang, alleged that at first she was afraid, but that she later discovered that they were Okokawon’s armed robbery gang and that it was a planned attack.

“I was not given anything the first day out with the gang since it was my first experience. I discovered that I was only used to deceive passengers to board the car. The second time out I was given N10,000 after the operation. Outside cash, Okolawon goes with all phones collected from victims,” she said.

She further confessed that she eventually joined the gang after she discovered that she will make more money from the operation than prostituting.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Cornelius Kayode Aderanti, who confirmed the report, said that the suspect along with four others, were involved in series of armed robbery operations along the Mile 2 -Badagry Expressway.

The Lagos State police boss said that before their arrest, the suspects, who operate in two cars, a Mazda and a Honda Haller, had earlier robbed some traders and that one of the victims, who took down the vehicles’ numbers, had reported the attack at Ojo Police Station.

“The case was handed over to a female police inspector. While she was investigating the matter, she too fell victim to the gang. She was stripped Unclad before her cash and valuable was taken away by the gang led by Okolawon. It is a clear case of catch in the air,” he added.
He stated further that unfortunately for the gang, they were sighted by the female Police Inspector around Alaba Rago bus stop area on the Mile 2 -Badagry expressway.

‘She raised alarm that led to the arrest of one Isiaka Ahmed, 33. Other members of the gang fled, abandoning their operational vehicle. The case was transferred to SARS. It was through investigation that led police to a hotel at Seme, where Victoria Momud was arrested,” he added.
He explained that effort was ongoing to arrest the other members of the gang.

Youth Corper Ends up in Jail For Helping Somebody at The ATM: Must Read

Someone shared this story on Twitter. Please read and learn from it.

For all those who readily help others to their own detriment, kindly follow my succeeding tweets.

My Sister just greeted me with a very sad news of how a young corp member got into trouble while trying to help

The newly posted corp member had gone to an Access bank ATM to withdraw N3000 from his
    account

Shortly after he returned to the office, he received a call from Diamond Bank requesting his presence @ the bank

Moments later to the utter amazement of everyone, dude returned in fetters accompanied by policemen & Bank staff

. A heavy allegation of theft was slammed on him. He was being accused of stealing a huge toyota car and other things

Bank Staff came with a video evidence of the corp member withdrawing at the ATM with a card from the stolen car.

Dude was crying profusely & tried in futility to exonerate himself by giving a detailed explanation of what had happened

He went to a nearby Access bank to make withdrawal when a fellow approached him feigning ignorance on the workings of the ATM

He agreed to help & collected the ATM card. The fellow frantically opened a diary frm which he read out different pin numbers

According to the corps member, he withdrew over a 100k jst as the guy urged him to be fast

Unknown to him as he would later find out, the fellow and his gang had stolen a car frm which he got the ATM card

The woman who was on her to block the ATM got a debit alert and hastened up to the bank -Access bank.

Access bank then connected Diamond bank, his personal Bank and he was called

Pleas for absolution from office staff and concerned people fell on deaf ears as the woman in question kept spitting threats.

Currently the corp member has been whisked away by police operatives and is currently at their mercy.

I call on the @NYSC to wade into this matter and ensure that an innocent man is not made to suffer.

Stop helping strangers with their witdrawals at the ATM!!

What Yar’Adua Told Me When I Confronted Him On Reversal Of Sale Of Refineries To Dangote, Others – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has castigated his successor in office, late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua for reversing the sale of the Kaduna and Port Harcourt refineries to a Dangote-led consortium by his administration.
The late president made the cancellation of the privatization of the moribund refineries one of the first things he did immediately he took over power from Obasanjo.
In the second part of an interview he granted Channels TV on Wednesday, Obasanjo, who is speaking publicly on the issue for the first time, accused Yar’Adua of bowing to pressure by some unnamed persons by canceling the said contract.
The ex-president, while justifying some of the claims he made in his controversial three-volume autobiography, My Watch, spoke about his efforts to get people to invest in the oil sector and how the country eventually secured buyers for two of its four refineries.
He said, “Eventually Aliko Dangote led a group that paid $750m for the privatisation of two of the refineries – 51 per cent privatisation – and my successor (Yar’Adua) came (in), he turned it down. In fact, he paid back the money because they (investors) had paid the money.
“And I went to him; I said ‘look, do you know…? And he said well, he did it because of pressure. I said ‘pressure?’, so to you what matters is pressure, not what is in the best interest of Nigerians. I said, but you know it will not work. Then I said in 10 years, if you continue, you would have spent two times the amount that these people had paid and it still would not work. And that is what happened.
“Today those two refineries, you can never make them work. And if we are going to sell them, we would be lucky to get $250m out of them because they have become a huge scrap. Now, why shouldn’t I explain that (in my book)?”

Tompolo commends Pres. Buhari on Amnesty Programme boss' appointment

Leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), Government Ekpemupolo, popularly called Tompolo, has commended President Buhari for appointing Brig. Gen. Paul Boroh (retd.) as the new coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

In a statement he released yesterday July 29th, Tompolo said he was happy that the position was not handed to a political jobber ..

"It could be recalled that I called a meeting of ex-agitators, leaders and other stakeholders in the Niger Delta last week as a result of the pressure on me to intervene in the seemingly troubled Amnesty Programme, due to the non-payment of the stipends and allowances to beneficiaries for months now. And so, it gives me joy for the President to appoint a high-ranking retired military gentleman to coordinate the programme rather than any of the political jobbers, who had advertised themselves in very negative forms in order to be appointed.”he said

Ibrahimovic: My next club will be a big surprise

The 33-year-old insists he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain but is confident no one will be able to predict his next destination when the time comes
Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims his next club will be "a very big surprise" as he enters the final year of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

The flamboyant Swede scored in the Ligue 1 champions' 2-0 pre-season win over Manchester United in Chicago on Thursday and has been linked with a move to MLS when his current deal in the French capital expires next summer.

But while Ibrahimovic insists he is "very happy" at PSG, he believes no one will be able to predict the identity of his next club when the time comes.

"Where I go next, it will be a surprise, a very big surprise," the PSG striker told reporters with a smile after the United victory.

"I'm very happy at PSG. You don't see that on the field? I have another year on my contract with PSG and I am very happy.

"Things are getting better. We are a strong team, we can do much more than we have been doing so at the moment but I am very happy."

Victory over United - coupled with earlier wins over Benfica and Fiorentina - saw PSG lift the International Champions Cup, but Ibrahimovic has his sights set on grander prizes- starting with the Trophee des Champions against Lyon in Montreal on Saturday.

"The (trophy) we won today is only for the preparation. This is nothing official," the striker insisted.

"This is only to prepare our condition mentally and physically for the season.

"We have been here 15 days, played all the friendly games and now we go over to the official game against Lyon, that is the Super Cup so if we can win that one we will win our first trophy for the year, so that would be very good."
